The main objective of this course is to develop highway professionals as "Road Safety Engineers" who should be able to bring in safety engineering elements in design, construction, operation and maintenance stages systematically ensuring safety for the road users. They will also be used for the network in operation for identifying safety deficiencies and to suggest improvements based on thorough analysis and sudit.
Eligibility
The minimum educational qualifications for the trainees shall be a degree in Civil Engineering and/or post-graduate degree or diploma in Traffic Engineering/ Highway Engineering/ Transportation Planning/Engineering.The attached application format shall be filled by the candidates enclosing a brief CV (two pages only), and shall be submitted with due authorization from the sponsor as application for attending the course. There are 30 seats in each course. Please note that the seats will be booked on the first-come-first-serve basis and on satisfying qualification and experience criteria.
