Our workshops are conducted by industry experts who also help us develop and maintain the training curricular.
Objective
The purpose of this document is to define the mandatory conditions students must fulfill to be eligible for placement assistance under DIYguru’s Post Graduate Certification Programs in EV Engineering and related domains.
DIYguru provides career support, not job guarantees. Placement assistance is aligned with individual skill, performance, and readiness. Final hiring decisions rest with partner organizations.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for DIYguru’s placement assistance, students must strictly fulfill all of the following criteria:

| 2 | Course Completion | Successfully complete at least 12 out of 15 courses included in the PG program. |
| 3 | Live Class Attendance | Maintain a minimum of 70% attendance in LIVE classes across all courses. |
| 4 | Project Evaluation Score | Secure a minimum 70% score in the overall project evaluations (cumulative across all projects). |
| 5 | Term Exam Performance | Pass all 3 term exams (conducted at 3-month intervals) with ≥70% score in each. |
Supplementary (Optional) Guidelines for Reference
These are additional, non-mandatory processes students may voluntarily complete to further enhance placement preparedness:
- Semester-wise Report Cards available on request via support@diyguru.org.
- Submission and grading of all course-wise assignments and projects.
- Participation in Mid-Term Viva Assessments (Viva I, II, III).
- Taking DIYguru’s Placement Test (internal evaluation).
- Mock interviews and counseling support through the placement cell.
- Compliance with DIYguru’s internal integrity and conduct policies (e.g., no plagiarism, timely submissions, professional communication).
While these are not mandatory for eligibility, they are strongly recommended and may be required by recruiters for shortlisting.
Important Notes
- No End Date for Support: Once eligible, students will remain in the placement pool until placed or withdrawn voluntarily.
- Placement is NOT Guaranteed: DIYguru’s commitment is to assist with job readiness and industry opportunities; hiring is at the discretion of external employers.
- Debarment Policy: Students may be debarred from placement support if they:
- Miss scheduled interviews without notice.
- Decline confirmed opportunities without valid reason.
- Engage in plagiarism, misconduct, or submit fraudulent documentation.
- Miss scheduled interviews without notice.

DIYguru 50% Refund Criteria for Placement Not Availed
(PG Program – For 12-Month Duration Programs Only)
Effective from: 7th August 2024
Objective
This policy outlines the conditions under which a student enrolled in the DIYguru Post Graduate Program may request a 50% course fee refund (excluding 18% GST) if they have not availed placement opportunities despite fulfilling all academic and placement-related obligations.

Eligibility Conditions for 50% Refund
A student is eligible to apply for a 50% refund of the total course fee paid (excluding 18% GST) only if all the following conditions are met:

| 3 | Lack of Interview Opportunities | Between 9th to 15th month of enrollment, DIYguru failed to provide at least 3 interview opportunities with different technical companies. |
| 4 | Positive Student Participation | The student has not refused or missed any interview opportunity or form-filling process more than 3 times, regardless of reason. |
When Refund Eligibility is Cancelled
Refund will be automatically denied if any one of the following is true:

| Refusal of Interview | If the student refuses to sit in up to 3 interviews arranged by DIYguru. |
| Form Not Filled | If the student fails to fill up required forms or details for scheduled interview processes 3 times. |
| No-show in Interview | If the student is a no-show for any scheduled interview without prior notice. |
| Consent Withdrawn | If a student accepts an opportunity and withdraws consent later. |
| Non-Compliance with Conduct | If plagiarism, duplicate submissions, or disciplinary misconduct is found during the course. |
Refund Process

| 2. | The placement and academic teams will review:• Attendance• Project scores• Term exams• Interview logs• Communication history |
| 3. | If the eligibility is verified, the student will be invited to an online discussion with the DIYguru Placement Committee. |
| 4. | If approved, the refund of 50% of total fee paid (excluding GST) will be processed within 4 weeks. |
Additional Notes
- Refunds are not applicable to 3-month or 6-month certification programs.
- Placement assistance continues post-15 months if the student chooses not to apply for a refund.

“By enrolling in DIYguru PG Programs and using this refund policy, students acknowledge that DIYguru’s responsibility is limited to placement assistance. Final hiring rests with external recruiters. Refunds are governed solely by the terms listed above and are not guaranteed unless all conditions are met.”
